Edao Trading has been taking measures to keep our employees and customers safe during the COVID-19 Pandemic, as advised by relevant authorities. They have included but are not necessarily limited to the following:
- Applying the strictest food safety and cleanliness protocols and management standards. These allowed us to become the first Ethiopian ISO-22000-2005 Certified and HACCP Certified (FSMS – Codex Alimentarius) exporter.
- Limiting unnecessary public visits to our facilities.
- Applying appropriate employee safety measures.
- No overseas events for the first half of 2020.
- Reviewing Pandemic status to determine whether or not to attend any events in second half of 2020
- Apply safety protocols as needed and/or advised by the Ethiopian Government. such as:
- Social Distancing / Masking as appropriate.
- Obeying official applicable quarantine orders if any.
- Cancelling unnecessary travel within the country.
- Cancelling non-emergency overseas travel
